How do you leave feed back on someone you sent a MO the day after the I"LL TAKE IT and ten days later he sends a message back that he sold the stuff to someone locally because he got tired of waiting on the MO and will send my money back . Or would the rest of you just let it go .

Not a good situation. Did it take 10 days for him to recieve the MO or is that when he finally notified you that he had sold the item. An "i'll take it" is considered a done deal. Was there anymore communication from the seller saying that he'd sell it to you? If so seller has an obligation to be a man of his word. State the sellers name so that i'll know not to deal with him.

yeah, seems you got a raw deal. I would be ****ed but nothing you can do about it realy. It is a shady thing to do to you but get your funds back and just move on. note his ID and name and don't do busness with him again.

It doesn't happen very often but there are those who pull shady deals. He may have got a bigger fish money wise. So you leave him bad feedback and I am sure he will do the same for you.. So you are in a no win situation. You were just unlucky and got the worst of the draw? Now it comes down who the rest of us will believe. I feel if a person has 100 positive feedbacks and two not positive, I would come to the conclusion that there is something wrong with the 2 negative feedbacks. Good Luck, I would believe his story of 10 days waiting if it came by pony express LOL. Lou

I said i would take it on April 7th and mailed MO on the 8th and he sent me a PM on the 13th saying he had not received the MO yet and i replied back that i did not send it certified ( witch I wont do again ) so no way to track it but to keep me posted . Then I sent a PM on the the 15th and again on the 17th asking if he received it and no response until the 18th when I learned he sold it to some one else and was sending my Money back . I have no idea when the MO actually got to him .

There was no mention of this being a time sensitive transaction or i could have and would have shipped 2nd or 3rd day mail. I also offered pay pal witch is instant .

I know there is nothin to do about it but I am Furious ! I was raised to believe a deal is a deal and few dollars isn't worth the price of my name .

I am going to give him a couple of days to try and make this right even if he has to send me all new brass instead of 1/2 once fired (doubtful ) before i posted his name . I real dont want to give anyone negative feedback but I dont like getting the shaft either.

Bridgebuilder, how many posts did he have? I have probably missed out on some good deals from honest people, but when I see just a few posts by a seller, I don't buy, but I enjoy buying and selling with guys who have a high post count.

This guy may be on the up and up because he contacted you and said he would return your money. He may just not get the concept of a committment. Let us know if he comes through. If not, we need to know who he is.

The question is: who trusts who first? Someone has to go first.

Tom

Always send money certified, or the quickest way possible. I can see your point, but I have been on both ends as buyer and seller.

He had around 170 post , a Silver member since 2009 . I agree i usually research sellers profiles alittle before i buy anything too. I have looked through his post breifly and dont see any other bad deals . Its seems like he just made a bad decision on this deal . Hopefully he learned a lesson and it wont happen again.

But i would still love to have the brass instead of my money back .

What caliber of brass do you need? Maybe I might have some for you. Remember that for every jerk there's 100 good guys. :D

I feel the seller should of e-mailed you and told you of his intentions. He also knew the money was in route and that could be lost. Seems to me he has a buddy that needed it and you got the boot. I have had real good luck with all I have traded with on here but there is always a bad egg.

I sent 2 PM s yesterday inquiring about the status of my returning money or possibly taking more win brass instead of Lapua . And I think he is as mad as i am witch is not a good combination but he did give me a phone # and i tried to call but no answer . He did say my brass is on the way but still dont know if its lapua or win or when it was shipped and why my money wasnt shipped back the day after he said he would return it or if its on the way back too
?????????

I guess i dont understand all the confusion THIS IS A SIMPLE DEAL !!

I MAIL A MO TO SELLER THEY MAIL ME THE GOODS !!!!!!!!!

I think it always a good practice to let the other party know when things are shipped from both ends so they can be looking for it.

Not making any judgments in this case but integrity doesn't necessarily have any connection with number of transactions. In one of My first attempted purchases on accurate reloading I got burned by a seller who is a moderator there. Mine was the first and only reply " I'll take it " followed up with multiple PMs that went unanswered for days. Passed up the same item for the same price on another forum because I had made a commitment to buy His and when He finally did reply it was pretty sarcastic. I am a member of about ten firearm forums and have found ALMOST everyone to be totally honest and pleasant to deal with. I've had sellers here and on a couple other forums send purchases before even receiving payment. I really enjoy the fact that We can trust each other that much. I hope it ends up just being an honest misunderstanding.
