Can anybody offer some advice for me on a detachable mag option for my gun?? I currently have an 8mm Rem Mag 700 BDL that I've done a bunch of work on, and the last gripe I have is that most of the time there is only one shot taken, but movement of loaded rounds in and out of the magazine is a pain in the butt, and the staggered feed causes some issues at points. Lastly we do some late season depredation elk culling, and a quick reloading option and more than 3 shot mag option would be good.

SO: What have you guys used, or do you recommend?? Am I correct to assume that any configuration that works with 300 win mag I can get away with the 8 mag?? The 8 is a bit longer than the 300 win, but the design I would guess would be the same??

I've looked at Kwik Klip, HS Precision, Wyatts.....any other recommendations?

The simple fix is to buy a Remington Detachable Mag with floor metal in 7 Mag, 7 stw or any
belted mag cartridge.

You will have to open up the inlet for the floor metal a little Or change stocks to one that
is already inlet ed but that's it.

They are very reasonable in Midway and will work well with the 8mm .
