Time to sell my long range shooter, moving to NY and I know I won't be able to use this rifle like it should be. As you can see from the photos, it is a very accurate rifle. The picture with the target (prior to Cerakote) is a .301" three shot group at 200 yards with 300gr Sierra Match Kings. The second photo of the vitals gong is an 1124 yard 3.11" group.
Here is a list of parts, this rifle was built by Jense Precision:
Defiance Machine Long Action, private labeled Jense Precision
Upgraded .750" one piece bolt with an M14 extractor
Satern 30" barrel carbon fiber wrapped by ABS, 1:10 twist rate
Holland Radial Brake
Lone Wolf XT Carbon and Kevlar Stock
Jewell Trigger
Seekins rail (rail interfaces the recoil lug)
Seekins recoil lug
Seekins bottom metal and removable box magazine, holds 4 rounds
Cerakote 2-tone
220 prep'd brass, ready to go
Redding competition dies
Premier 5-25 Gen 1 XR, has been upgraded to the Gen 2 clicks
3 Seekins rings
As of now, bipod is not included. But it's negotiable.
This barrel is amazing, please don't confuse it with the Christensen Arms carbon fiber wrapped barrels. The ABS cabon fiber is a heat dissipater (the Christensen carbon fiber is an insulator). ABS barrels pull heat from the core at a rate 400% faster than a conventional barrel. The barrel is 30", measures .865" at the smallest diameter yet weighs only 3.7 pounds.
The entire rifle with the scope, bipod and magazine weighs 13 pounds. According to Premier, the scope weighs a bit over 2 pounds without the rings. So this rifle is less than 11 pounds un-scoped, and that's with a 30" varmint profiled barrel!
There are a few spots on the rifle, it was used in the field as it was intended to be. There are 388 rounds down the pipe, the chamber and inside of the barrel is mint. I took photos of the marks, there is one on the trigger guard, one on the stock where the bolt touches, under the stock where the pivoting bipod has rubbed, and a few other small marks here and there. But overall this rifle has been well taken care of and has a very long life ahead of it.
I will sell it with or without optics and rings, BUT I WILL NOT SELL THE OPTICS ALONE SO PLEASE DON'T ASK.
$4500 Rifle without Optics or Rings, shipped to your FFL. USPS MO ONLY
