I have been interested in buying a 22. I know there are several companies that make them. I am looking for the most accurate up to 100 yards more or less. I heard that the CZ is pretty accurate, just trying to see if there is anything else. Thanks

Savage Mark II are very accurate in the bull barrel versions, and the new Mark II TR is a "mini" version of a long range rifle. I have a Mark II BTV and routinely shoot at 100 yards. They will shoot under 1" at that distance with the right ammo.

+1 on the MKII. I have one in the MKII FV. Thing shoots one hole groups at 50 on a regular basis. I can ping a steel ram at 210yrds easily and a plate at 240yrds with plenty of hold over. The 240 plate has to be on a calm day if I don't have a spotter with me. PMC ammo works really well in mine. It holds about 1" at a 100yrds with PMC Sidewinder high velocity. I didn't have much luck with any Hyper Velocity stuff.

Don't know much about the CZs accuracy rifle to rifle but there are several that I can vouch
for.

I am a big Anschutz fan and have built several 17 HMRs on there actions and they will shoot
10 round 1/2 moa @ 100 yards.

They are one of the finest and most accurate 22s that I have seen.

They win the most matches for a production rifle and the prices are reasonable.(They also
come with a test target so you can see what you have).

The new Weatherby MK 22 is also built on a Anschutz action and is beautiful and comes with
a test target also. It is a little more expensive.

The savage would be a good choice if you don't want to spend very much.

Just my opinion.

We started building RF actions again. Putting rock creek cut rifled rim fire barrels on them and the accuracy we have seen will rival anything out there.

Anschutz is #1 and has been for forever. I happen to favor the good ol' Ruger model-77/22 for an affordable accurate bolt action 22 tho. Plenty buildable. Not quite as buildable as a 10/22 semi auto as far as aftermarket bolt on parts go, but buildable none the less with aftermarket parts.
