I just came back from the range this morning testing loads. Two bullets tested were the hornady 300 spbt and the sierra 350 match king. The load for the hornady 300 is 111 grains of IMR 7828ssc at a velocity of 3200 fps. the sierra 350 is 108 grains of reloader 25 at a velocity of 3005 fps. The rifle is a remington 700 sendaro rebarreled with a Brux .375 1-10" twist 31 inch barrel.

sounds cool, is the tejas basicly AIed? (40deg &less taper) or is the shoulder pushed forward??? whats the neck length? keep us updated on how she shoots, whats brass/primers? was thinking 375rum to mess with but this round might make even bigger smilesgun)

shoulder lenth increased about .085 with a 50 degree angle. shoulder diameter increased from .525 to .540. case capacity increased by about 6.7 grains. also available in .338, .308, .284. reloader 25 is as full as possable with out bulging cases when pressing in bullet.

I think you have a very special rifle like my 300 wby that thinks it is a 30-378. You are 300 fps faster than my 375-300 ultramag and I can't see 6 grains of powder or any improvements on the ultramag that would give a 300 fps increase in a normal rifle. Not saying your wrong because my 300 wby will shoot 180 grain bullets at 3460 fps and the 200's at 3250 fps. It is way outside the norm and I think your rifle may also be. You are into 378 wby performance and the 378 is way more gun than anything off the ultramag case. Please give us updates on this rifle as your load development continues. You have a super screaming long range elk rifle for sure.

If you have a 375 tejas , more than likely your gunsmith was Brad Stair. nice guy but if you have not been wearing your chest waders this all reaks of fecal matter. did you chrono these loads yourself ???

I used my shooting chrony and developed my own loads since I couldnt get brad to send me any loading info. I used this same chrony to test my 338 rum 300 smk load of 91 grains reloader 25 at 2740 fps and my 250 hornady load of 98 grains reloader 25 at 3050 fps.

Now make sure you come back here and tell us about the primers falling out next time after you shoot this load again... make sure your health insurance includes a bedside hospital internet connection too...
