My guess is that it will work just fine, especially with heavier bullets. I've been using LRT in the 338RUM & it produced excellent velocity. I have yet to check temp stability but i'd definitely give it a go. I don't see the 7RUM listed in the Western Powders reloading book however, the 28 Nosler is in there. I don't see why a gentleman couldn't use some of that data to get a rough starting point. That of course, is up to you. I have no idea what the case volume is between 28N and 7RUM.

This is a measurable increase in performance. Mine is a LSS. I never was anywhere close to 3400 with retumbo or Reloder 25 and 160 ab

Do you have any load details?
Adg brass. Cci 250s. Will hafta look at notes when I get home. I will say this is a warm load. Slight ejector marks. Pockets still tight after 3 firings There was a thread here somewhere over a year ago that had some good info on LRT

I've had the 7 rum since it very first appeared (2000). I have satisfactory loads for it but always looking for improvement especially in 160s and 175s.
