Folks I have paralysis by over analysis. I have a load shooting a 140 grain Sierra Gamechanger 2900 FPS or a 143 grain ELD-X 2700 FPS. Both sub MOA accuracy handloads.

What would be your choice for whitetail at ranges from 10-600 yards?

I think the ballistics at 500y will be fairly similar due to the low BC of the gamechanger. The 143eldx should be easily ran at the 2820-2830 node with 4350 burn rates. Even above 2900 w/ rl26. The gamechanger does hold together better than the eldx from most reading, but no personal experience.

I've tried to push the ELD-X harder with H4350 but I always hit pressure above 41.5 grains 2700 FPS.

On the other hand I have an excellent load with 46.9 grains of Superformance and the 140 grain GameChanger that hits 2900 FPS.
