I'm using a Harris Bipod with a bean bag for the rear and would like to know who's using a monopod instead of a bean bag.
I've been looking at the Acc-Shot Monopod but don't know if it's really worth it. This would be for hunting and target practice up to 500-1,000 yrds.

A few years back at the Harrisburg Sports Show I tried a Muley Pod. The concept was good with turnbuckle style inerds. But everytime I shot, the pod folded underneath itself. I'd rather use a rear bag myself.

Hi,
I Used AccuShot Monopod, the low profile ones, up to 1050yards last week.
Hit the target on first strike.
Overall are great for hunting, up to 1k.
As a review if I have to choose between, sandbag, accushot and freehand holding my choise willbe (for stability)
1. sandbag
2. accushot
3 and the last options available freehand holding.

I find they wobble to much for my personal liking. A rabbit ear rear bag filled with a light fill such as walnut polishing media of plastic filler works much better for me then a uni-pod rear.
