CURTIS ACTION- Updated with Pictures

I just received the action back from Greg Tannel, of Gre'-Tan Rifles. Since there is no one more experienced than him in the fire control area, we employed his expertise to "tune our fire control system". He addressed dwell time, spring rate, firing pin travel, and bolt to cam cut timing. We were close, but not to his standards. Minor changes will be made to the program early next week, and we will move forward to production.
Bottom metal is complete, and mags are following shortly.
Photos were taken Wednesday, and the website will be up and running shortly. You will be able to see everything there, as well as a description of all the products.
There you have it.... We've been busy.:)

When will production begin. Anxious to see the finished product.

Regards, Paul

Changes to the action programs are completed. Mags and bottom metal are already in production. We have a meeting tomorrow morning to discuss action production. Looks like we will start in about three weeks.

We will be offering "Curtis Russo" rifles... they will not disappoint... gun):D:cool:
I'm VERY INTERESTED in a "Curtis Russo" rifle.
I've been kicking around ideas for a custom rifle. Joel's stocks are beautiful! I have been looking around at custom actions, trying to decide whether to go that route or to re-barrel an existing action and fit it with a custom stock. I'm really digging your new action and looking forward to seeing the final product. A complete rifle from you guys is high on my list of possibilities.

But I want sort of a "sporter" type rifle (with a slightly heavier barrel) that could be carried all day. NOT a big, heavy target rifle that can be carried maybe a couple hundred yards from the truck.

Tagging in...your stuff is art, Mr. Russo. Hopefully I can afford one in the near future.

Any updates Joel ? I am patiently waiting for production to start then I will give you a call to come up to see them.
