Accurate 7mm rem mag Powder?

I have had good luck with H1000 and RL-22 with 160 Accubond bullets.

Here is a 3 shot group out of my Ruger Mark II. This load is above the max that is given in most manuals so start lower and work up if you want to try it!
The fact is my Ruger has a long throat and it takes more powder to get to get the velocity that you are looking for. This load is about 2900 ft/sec.

I was told by an engineer that retired from Remington that IMR 7828 is what Remington uses for their factory ammo. That and H1000 works for me.

7828 SSC is what I shoot in my 7mmRM's. Works great for me.

I run 160gr Accubonds over IMR 4350 and Federal 215s. Get 2915fps out of a 24 inch barrel and group sizes slightly under a half minute.

I'm going to have to cast my vote for H1000. It's been hard to find, but it shoots great out of my 7mm (see signature). I'm not a great shot, but I can manage consistent sub .7 moa groups out to 600 yards. And I'm also getting 3100 fps with this setup with no signs of pressure. In fact I'm getting 7 reloads out of a piece of brass before it's junk.

I was able to get my hands on 1 pound of the new reloader 23. All I can say is WOW! Better velocity than 22, Not at all temp sensitive and very uniform pressures with the muzzle pressures lower than normal. It should be on the shelves before next hunting season.

Could please share how you tested the temp stability and lower pressures? I would be willing to investigate this powder, but was wondering how you got some and tested it?

I love IMR 7828 SSC, but I can't wait till 7977 becomes available, so I can try it out.
