Got this on my birthday last year on a day hunt lease in Duval county Texas. He came out chasing a doe just before sunset at just over 200 yards. I was hunting with a Remington 700 vss in .308 shooting federal match 168gn. Dropped him on the spot with a high spine shot.

Got this big boy May 2012. 9'6" and skull right at 28". Boone & Crockett to score in 2 weeks. 196 yards with a Ruger Hawkeye Alaskan in 375 Ruger from the bluff on the other side of the river. 300 gr North Fork bullets. Those bullets hammered him.
