I am looking for a Remington 700 stainless in 280. Don't care too much about the stock.

With all the macho magnum stuff, everyone knows the 280 is too small to kill much more than a opossum.

If your 280 needs a new home, drop me a PM.

Thanks

That's a pretty small opossum. I'd say with a well constructed bullet and a solid hit from less than 100 yards you could at least knock him off that wire he's clinging too. He'd fall to his death though.

Preedmaster223 - You are right on. Not sure a bullet from a 280 would one shot stop this beast, but the fall from the wire.....opossums are one wild beast.

Still looking.......

No No No you got it all wrong the 280 is surely tooo small to kill him what you do is shoot the wire in half and fry his little arse to death. Fried, frittered and Frickasied all in one shot.

Love my 280!!!!!!

I am not to sure about a standard 280. My 280ai would be marginal!
LMFAO. good luck on your search!

AI might be good for squirrels.

Still looking. Although I did just find a Win M70 in 7x57....but that is essentially a B B gun.

Cheers
