I sold a XP a little over a month ago. After I sold it I came to conclusion to late that I'd rather have a handgun grip in my hand than cash in my pocket.

I think I'm going to sit on my last xp one more season. If it doesn't get used away it goes.

I picked up an xp-100 in 221 Fireball about 5 years ago. A local gun shop had offered $300 and it was a 45 minute drive. I offered the same but with no drive and the deal was done. All original I added a Buris 3-9 and it shoots 52 gn Sierra's into 1" at 100 yards.
It took 35 years of wishing before I was able to acquire that gun but well worth the wait.
Checked with Remington and they said that the serial number indicated it was a prototype. Too bad I can't use it to keep squirrels out of the bird feeder. Would have to get a Dillion to keep up the ammunition stock.
