WTB: savage barrel wrench

    need for my build, a used barrel wrench for a savage rifle, or would like to rent/loan thanks

    Get a Mcree they're only $25 and stainless.

    Ditto. This is absolutely sound advice. McRee's barrel nut wrench is the best out there, period. Weird part is, as Nimrod advised, also the least expensive.

    There web site looks like there doing work, does someone know if he has a recoil lug for a large shank Savage. I also am needing the wrench but I would like to get both in one stop if I can.

    I don't think Scott is making any lugs right now, he is working on a Savage long action chassis though. I dropped an action off at his place the other day so he could get the fit right. Scott and Kathy make quality stuff and are quality people also!
