I should have clarified. I would prefer a bolt gun. or maybe even a stainless tc encore frame and ill buy a barrel for it

Look for a Remington 700 R5 stainless w/a 24" bbl. it has a 1:9" twist and a heavy profile in a H&S Precision stock w/a aluminum bedding block. Mine shoots dime size groups at 100 yards with boring regularity...... I've shot under 3" three shot groups at 600 yards with just a 55 gr. tipped varmageddon. Can't wait to see what it'll do with the 73 gr. Berger target bullets I have!

See if you can find a Rem700 tactical 223. My cousin has one. It's a 20" 1:9twist barrel. It shoots 70grain bullets very well.

I agree with Trebark. I have an SPS tactical and it will shoot 1/4 groups with 69 gr SMK. I love the gun. I also received your letter yesterday and will get the item shipped out Monday.

I have a Tikka with a 1-8 twist I might let go... It is a T3 lite blued, shoots 52gr Sierras into 1 ragged hole @ 100
