Winchester style safety on a Remington...

Has anybody here seen such a modification? If so, who did the work and how much $$$ ? I like the 3 position style because it allows the bolt to be opened while still blocking the firing pin from dropping. But you guys already knew that. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Gentry makes a unit that converts the Remington bolt shroud to the Win M-70 style , I think its about $200 to have them install it.

I forgot who but their is an after market kit that converts the rem 2 position safety to the three position and its ALOT cheaper than the Gentry unit.
I'll see if I can dig up the info.

I have installed the unit that Brownell's sells, it takes some machining to get everything working. $$$$
