I started this in the coyote hunting forum before I realized there was an optics forum. I am still undecided on a scope. I just bought a Ruger Hawkeye Predator in 22-250 and now need a scope. I would like to be able to shoot out to 600yds. I am pretty much set on 4.5-14 power. Not sure on the objective yet. I am considering Leupold VX3, Zeiss Conquest, or Burris Black Diamond. All are about the same price. What are everyones thoughts? Another member made a good point that I will not have the time to dial up on turrets for coyotes. I am leanig towards varmint reticles for holding over at different yardages, that is how I understand they work.
