I have some n165 and would like to reload some 124 hammer hunters, but load data is hard to find. Do you have a load that would work for such ?N165 with lighter 130-135gr
N575 with the heavier bullets
I get more velocity and less pressure with n565It looks like lots of folks are using N565 with the 156. It's about the same burn speed as H1000 in my experience.
Now that's cool.H1000 topped with 153.5 and 156 Berger's, both bullets shoot the same out too 1,200 yards
Have plenty of bullets and brass hopefully H1000 and primers come around soon. Shot the 153.5 to a mile a few times. I'm a big fan of the 6.5'sNow that's cool.
I shoot the 144's right at 3k with H4831SC out of 7.5 twist 22" Proof. I hunt with them also but I open the tips with a .65 wire bit and hand chuck. Change BC by .002 and they're dead on. Lethal on game also. Going to get some of the 153.5's and experiment.Have plenty of bullets and brass hopefully H1000 and primers come around soon. Shot the 153.5 to a mile a few times. Look at the hammer hunter data on this forum my data is there my load for the 124 is 58.3 grs N165 cci -250 26 in proof 3300 plus with some vel still on the table if you want too push it and 3450 plus with the 123 gr absolute with a compressed charge of 63 grs of N165 I think N560 will give even more vel but have not tried it yet good luck proceed with caution drop back and work upI have some n165 and would like to reload some 124 hammer hunters, but load data is hard to find.
