What is your load development routine?

    Well, I use Nosler and other guides and take their accurracy load and start .5 below, their load, and .5 above and at recomended COAL or SAAMI length and work from there. What is yours? I may try 3-5 different powders and bullets until that one jumps out. My buddies tell me I have issues and work too hard. Hell if nothing else it is fun!

    I start by loading 5 or 10 at the min load and working up .2-.5gn to the average of the different advertised max loads i can find data for.

    After shooting these over a chrono, i look for the load thats shooting the lowest spread in fps, which is usually the best group too.

    After this i do the bullet seating depth test like berger recommends.

    Usually, somewhere in this process i find a load thats fast and shoots under 1 MOA and im happy.
