VX6 Quick Question

"Mine is correct at 18 power for full MOA value and double MOA value at 8 1/2 power setting. "

Interesting....it should be double value at 9x but it seems a little off. What did you use to check the calibration ?
I did a couple at 600 yards looking at a 60" marking on a post = 10 MOA

Wedgy,it is my luck to have a smith that goes all the way, when it comes to scope mounting. He mounts barreled action in jig that he levels in many planes, mounts scope in same axis as bore. He then uses a laser grid projected on a wall @ 100 yds.exactly. I don't know exactly what all he does or how he does it, but so far, on numerous scopes, he's been spot on. I get a printout that gives me both available & reliable travel (up & down), exact scope height, true click value (my vx6=.2557 moa), reticle subtensions, backlash amount, focus/parallax POI shift, variable power change of POI, and the shift rate of vertical crosshair travel. All I know is that it's accurate dope and it's a HELLUVA a lot more information than Leupold will ever put on a scope. For what it's worth, my VX-6 3-18x44 scored perfect marks in all but True MOA/click value ( rated 4/5) This is one individual vx6, but it should make users feel good about it.
