I agree. I have the straight version and have ran it side by side with a Swarovski at dusk on deer at 2 miles away. Not a Swarovski but for the price difference it is definitely worth the money. I would say the Swaro was better but not twice the money better. It might buy you an extra 3 minutes if that.

Whoever bought the Vortex for $800 received a very good scope at a great price!
