Born at Ft Richardson. Lived in Anchorage area and Fairbanks area. Military life forced my move to lower 48 and the world. Don't regret it, but really do miss it. I was able to get back for several visits over the years but wasnt lucky enough to get stationed there. I have always said that if I was ever able to get back to AK after I retired, I would never leave. I still swear to this. Stay safe and have fun.

If you are going throughcanada personally to Ak. Yoi my bring up to 16 lbs of powder. It is controled cannot ship by air just barge and then must have haz mat placards as well as a couple other things
