I wonder if it was with the Classic Hunter? or VLD?

Check out the bullet flight on this 447 yard shot. My son made a great shot on his biggest whitetail buck yet. You can see the bullet in the video, even though the 168 grain Berger leaves the Tikka T3 Superlite 7mm Remington Magnum traveling over 3000 fps!

SAKO 85 BOLT FACE vs TIKKA T3
I like their extractors.
Mossberg rifles have similar.
Better than Remington and others.
I had a Sako-style extractor installed on my Rem 700 BDL .30-06. Love it.

Howa vs Mossberg
(Mossberg extractor is in middle of left lug - nevermind arrows.)

If Ruger would ONLY put a bolt lock and a better trigger on their American rifles they would have the equal of Tikka rifles.

OK, so charge and extra $50. to $75. for these improvements and watch sales "improve". Ruger's cold hammer forged barrels are proving to be extremely accurate. Their American V block bedding system is very good. Make the plastic stock's forearm stiffer with a full length moulded-in metal tube and we're there.

Good shot and Impressive video. Must be really good quality to capture the flight of the bullet. Isn't that quality time with your son. Great
