Got this from Richards Microfit. I ordered a Rosewood laminate and this is how it came. I called and they said it should get more like rosewood when sanded down. I did some and seems it's getting brighter.
I plan on returning it but thought I'd see if someone here could use it first.
It's the dual thumbhole style. Use it as a thumbhole or wrap your thumb around as you would with a standard stock. Ordered rose wood laminate with rosewood tip and grip cap.
It does need final shaping and sanding. Barrel channel shaped as needed for your barrel. Sporter fits with very little work. A tikka action does fit into the inlet. It'll need bedding.
I have a claro walnut I ordered at the same time that I'm finishing and is looking great, imo, and I'm no wood worker.
Save a few bucks and the 3-4 month wait.
