Top go-to powder for 30-06 with 168-172s

I've been loading I4350 with 165's in a 30-06 for decades. Got a few hundred rounds of 165 Hornady Interlocks loaded right now...

Yep as previously mentioned, 4064 is the historical go to powder, but I have had the best accuracy on 150, 165, 180 grain bullets using either IMR or H 4350. In my 24" 1952 Win Mdl 70 IMR4350 gives me 2,933 fps using a 165 gr Sierra GK at a Hodgdon maximum load. It has taken coyotes, antelope, deer, and hogs out to over 400 yards. Never needed to shoot further.

H4350 is fairly easy to come by. Just FYI midway has in stock 8lb jugs if you need any. $345 so not terrible

Not H4350 it's horrible in the 30-06. I haven't gotten any since the 6.5 CM people discovered it.

H4350. Very accurate and consistent in my rifle. I'm also using magnum primers with the 60.5 grains and 150 Sierra GK 150's over 3000 fps. Best I've found so far.

RL17 is Majic Pixie in a 06 - I avg over 3000 FPS with a 165 grer out of my T3X 22.4 " at Safe pressure .

In those weight ranges, Ramshot Hunter or a 4350 of your choosing. I've used IMR4350 and H4350 with good results. My gun really liked the Hunter as well.

I have no issue, have several 4kg jugs in RE19, RE22 and RE25. Bought up heaps the last shipment to Australia, heard on the rumour mill there would be a shortage, so took advantage, pity more RE33 didn't show up, oh well, got a 1lb bottle for my trouble.

Magnum, if you have not tried it, R#25, SD is very low with accuracy at the top end of the pressure curve with R#25 with Win Mag primers!

Howdy, as mentioned from most H4350
Is the easy button. Rl- 15 or 16 is good.
If you want to wake it up, try N- 550, 555 or 560. Always be careful, start low and work your way up.
