I would first like to formally introduce myself. My name is David, I am 25 years of age and have in the past few years have taken up deer hunting. I bow hunt for the most part but only because I have never owned a long rang rifle. I am not new to shooting but most of my experience is with lever guns. I have recently purchased the T/C Dimensions rifle chambered in 7mm rem mag. After doing some review reading on optic choices I ended up purchasing the SWFA SS 10x42 MRAD scope per recommendation. I am now trying to find a good factory load to use in this rifle. I have done some research ( which is not the same as shooting I know) and I have started to lean towards the 154 gr Hornady SST superformance ammo. My primary needs are a good hunting round for up to 700 yards. I will also be doing some long range target shooting for fun. The group of friends of mine ( that I drug into this life long habit of shooting with me) and I have talked about getting into the reloading part of shooting and hunting. This will probably take a while to take effect so I am really looking for a good factory load in the mean time. Any and all perspectives will be weighed. Thanks guys............and girls?
