Hey guys, I'm starting to gather my parts for a new custom home brew build and wanted to hear some others opinions. I have always just shot factory rifles and have decided to take my time and build the best rifle I can myself. My goals is a 1000' target and yote Hunter and 6-700' deer rifle. I have decided on a 6.5 Creedmoor. Parts are as follows.
Defiance Deviant Hunter
Stockys new Long Range Composite stock
Timney 510 at 1.5lb
Factory Rem BDL bottom metal
Criterion 26" 1/8 Lt Varmint Remage
Ross Schuler brake
Night Force NXS 5.5-22x50 Moar ret
Night Force rings

I have different personal preference but I see nothing wrong from your own personal choices of components.

Good luck!

I agree w/ feenix. I have a few CBI barrels on savages, but personally I wouldn't put one on a Defiance. To me its like putting plastic hubcaps on a bently. I would opt for a point cut rifled barrel over the cbi button pulled barrel.

I'm interested in hearing about the stock. No one here has mentioned it TMK, I like its design and price tag even more.
