While deciding on what rifle to build or buy, there are a lot of decisions that should be made first. This Video goes into detail about the thought process to come up with your (Best/Perfect) choice for the intended use.
The Video choice is a 375 safari rifle, but all the elements are there for considering other cartridges for other uses.
This is a good step by step way to decide what you want/need and end up with the best rifle for you. This is the normal procedure I use to get the right rifle in the hands of the owner if allowed to contribute or suggest.
If you are trying to decide on the next rifle you have probably already been through this exercise in some form or fashion. if it is your first custom build I feel it will really help to chose wisely. It is also a good guide for buying a factory rifle.
