I'm not saying there are. My reason is that it's a PITA to send to New York and California because they only except firearms from an FFL instead of me as an individual sending it to their FFL. I've been through this twice And I want to avoid it .

Just a FYI That is not correct. That's up to the individual FFL and it happens in many states. There are many FFL in CA that accept from individuals. My local FFL does.
