I would like your advise on which bullet would be the best for bushveld hunting in South Africa. I intend using the 150gr in my .270win. The Swift come at a price of +80% compared to the Barnes bullets. However, the Barnes TSX is harder on barrel life than the Swift A-Frame.

Try the barnes first and see if it shoots in your gun. If not try out the Swift or a Nosler Partition.

The Barnes TSX bullets does give a <1" grouping which is good for bushveld hunting. I was just concerned about the barrel wear. Maybe it is not justified since the Barnes bullets have banded rings to absorb deforming.

I used 210 TTSX in my 338 RUM for Kudu, Hartebeast, Wildebeest and several other animals and it performed perfectly. I also used the 150gr Nosler Partition in my 270WSM for Waterbuck, Bushbuck, and Zebra. No problems there either.
