Can anyone tell me if the turrets on the Swarovski Z6 3-18x50 have enough moa adjustment to get me out to 1000yds with a 7 rem mag without an moa rail?

Short answer; yes

Should be about 30MOA of 'up' available.

What bullet? What velocity?

Watch out for the (BT) model - only one turn of elevation is available, probably not enough 'up' for 1k.

Custom turrets are available from Kenton Industries and High Power Optics.

Also bare in mind the Z6 turrets are not MOA, technically they are graduated in MILs.

I'm thinking 168gr Berger around 2950fps. The model I'm looking at is the Z6i 3-18x50 BT

That model scope with the standard BT (1 revolution) will get you to around 850 yards if you sight your rifle in at 200 yards. That is if you are using the Berger 168 gr VLD Hunter with a BC of 0.618 G1 at 2950 fps and shooting at 1000 feet or higher. 0 feet will cut that back to 825 yards.

Great thanks, that's exactly what I wanted to know.
