I have factory bdl bottom metal .
I'm thinking it won't cover the hole for tactical bottom metal. Am I correct

Yes, your factory bdl bottom metal should work just fine. The barrel channel is what I was referring to when saying varmint/tactical. Bergara is a Remington 700 clone

His first 2 photos show it with what looks like Bergara BDL bottom metal, whether it covers or not you can't tell, Varmint/ tactical sounds more like a barrel channel reference, OP needs to clarify,

A bdl bottom metal will fit just fine. Varmint tactical was in regards to the barrel channel. A bdl bottom metal will fit, that's what the stock is made for.
