After reading about the Magpul stock and Elkaholic's stock, I thought I would add something. I appreciate you gentlemen showing us these stocks. I purchased two of Boyd's laminate tacticool stocks. One for a SA Rem and one for a LA Rem. Both fit into the stocks quite well and I also didn't have to bed the action. I know that it should have been bedded afterall it is just wood and the inletting cannot be perfect. Regardless of this fact, the 30 BR and the 7 Rem mag shot excellent groups. I torqued both actions at 40 in/lb front and 35 in/lb rear. For $125 or so shipped they are a great deal. The also can be drilled here and there to lighten them up. They now call it the Pro Varmint. SA Rem featured here: https://www.boydsgunstocks.com/FindAStock?Make=3U&Model=182&Action=1J&Shape=1G&Finish=2 Or you can select one of their many laminate colors for an additional $15 to 16.50 more. There are additional customizing features: https://www.boydsgunstocks.com/ConfigurePackage?ItemNumber=3U1821J1G2ZZ
