stock paint job

hello
I am going to repaint my sendero stock and was wondering how to do the lizard skin type of look? i have herd fishnet stockings work but figured i would ask.

Yep fishnet stockings, and a lot of patience, 5 colours to acheive this look.
The trick is laying the paint on in different directions to get shadows.

End result is cool tho.

You'll want to contact Shawn Carlock at defensiveedge.com. He painted my rifle stock with the scaled look like what you see on his rifles. I love it and it's reasonably priced.

I understood that pretty clearly from your first post, I did mine, myself, I just put alot of thought into it before I started mixing paint, I had a clear idea of what I wanted to acheive.

Depending on which ones you get, but those stockings can get pretty pricey

Being a real man I took my daughter with me and she brought them for me LOL!!!!!
