Its 11.20 am here in north alabama, just got threw shooting at rocks. Here is alittle about the spotting scopes. First of all i found out that my spotter is BLIND AS A BAT!!!.:) He only saw 4 out of 10 hits at 2000 yards with 338 lapua and 300 grain serrias at 2820 fps. I swapped places with him when gun cooled down and I saw 9 out of 10 of his shots. MY bushnell 15x45x60 mildot spotting scope is fine. I just need a new a new person to spot for me:D Looked at to other spotting scopes 20x60x80 leupold tatical mark4 and a kowa 880 with a 30x eyepices. Ok first the kowa. Friend of mine brought a guy with a 7mm saum and a 880 kowa with a vortex 30x eyepice. He said he bought just the scope body and then got an adapter? and a 30 vortex moa eyepice. The kowa was very clear but on the tan rocks will 7mm 180 grain bullets i strugled to see but 2 of 10 hits at 2000 yards, plus his gun shot ALL OVER THE PLACE!!. The leupold 20x60x80 we used all the way out to 2200 yards with the 338 lapua. I really liked the 20x60x80 mark 4 leuopold. they usually run 2400 the guy says. we had lots of fun put 40 rounds threw 338 lapua in 2 hrs time. Im going to write about it in ELR section if anyone wants to read about rock shooting in north alabama..,> chris
