The are called progressive...its what I wear

The progressives that I have don't go quite edge to edge at the bottom of the lens. The focal area of mine is like a Hershey kiss shape. It's very narrow in the top center and mushrooms out to the bottom of each corner, like a Hershey Kiss shape.

It could be the type of correction you need...I would ask another opthalmologist to make sure if I were you

Exactly! In fact, after getting old-fashioned bi-focals with lines in them, I'll assert this ... at least for some of us ...
