I'm shipping a firearm the FFL of another member on the site. What company do you suggest? Fed-Ex Ground, UPS, or another carrier? I'd like to hear what others have experienced.

I use USPS...I used UPS once and they literally lost it for nearly a month, it was even declared a rifle.

With USPS I just box it up and ship, they don't ask what it is and I don't tell them.

I use USPS for LONG GUNS.....Handguns have to go though other carriers. For me in my area, UPS and FedEx are about 50/50, pick your poison......Things happen to both of them!

morning, food for thought. I bought 2 rifle barrel blanks. the blanks
were shipped usps. the barrels were stolen. the clerk handed
me a empty barrel shipping tube. she told me that theft was not
her dept!!!! I asked for the manager. manager took the
complaint/theft report. waited 2 weeks nothing. finally called the theft
division. the lady gave me a # to call. called the rep. gave her
the theft/complaint #. after 6 weeks got my refund.
I would never ship anything of value thru the usps.
me I would separate the barreled action from the stock.
ship separately. configuration of pack SAYS firearm.
