Aside from the gray or green webbing, is the stock on the newer Sendero the same as the 700P, including the dual palm swells?

The sendero definitely has 2 sling studs up front. I take them both out everytime I shoot off a front rest.:)

My sendero has two sling studs up front also, but I take the back stud out of the stock when I use my rest when I am out target shooting, found out the hard way to not leave it in.

just outa curiosity y do u take the back 1 out ?
If you are resting the butt on a body part, like many guys shooting on benches do, (they slip their left hand under the butt to support and level the rifle), the rear stud will rip it under recoil.
That rifle should be shot prone using a bipod or sitting on the ground.

Wasn't it Elmer Keith that despised shooting on a bench? 'Stand on your hind legs and shoot like a man.' was one of his lines.
