Anyone hav ea great load worked up for a Sendero 7MM Mag? I am getting .5-.6" groups with some factory 150 gn rounds, but know I can do much better with some handloads. I wuold like to move up to the 168 Bergers, but would love a headstart on any loads anyone has worked up!

71.5grs. Retumbo, 215m, Win. Brass at .010" off the lands with the 168 BergerVLD is my favorite, for my 7mag. Gives me one bugged hole at 100yds. so far with a 3048fps. ave. velocity. I haven"t got to shoot em farther than that yet, but I think it'll work out. 72.5grs. gave me 3114,3114,3123fps, and excellent accuracy as well, but showed a slight horse shoe extracter mark on the brass so I backed off. I believe Berger's max was 70.4grs., so work up gradually.

I tried the above load and it works!! Great accuracy and real killer. I touch the rifling with bullet.

I am using 69.3 grains RL25 behind Berger 168 and getting 2995 fps at 12 feet in my rifle, a Rem 700 with 24 inch barrel. Just off the lands. I noticed my groups get tighter and tighter with the hotter load. But all rifles are different......

168g VLD, 63g RL-22, Win case, Fed 215, bullet seated to touch lands. 2950fps, and 1/2 MOA out to 700 yards from my rem 700 bdl in 7 Rem Mag w/24" bbl.

180g VLD, 61g RL-22, Win case, Fed 215, bullet seated to touch lands. 2825fps, and 1/2 MOA

I like the 168g better then the 180g from the 7 mag case. Hits every bit as hard out to 1K, but shoots flatter and drifts about the same as the 180g.
