I have a 15 year old Nikon that started giving me problems. Sent it back to them, and it was repaired free of charge. You must also send the original sales receipt.

Must of been before they got out of the scope business. They no longer repair or replace them.

OP, You are pretty much SOL getting Nikon to help you. Might be time for a new brand of scope.
