Briefly listing my .22-250. I built this as a "walking rifle". And, it is light and super accurate!

Stevens 200 short action, rifle basic sav-1 trigger, Savage accustock, bottom metal and magazine/mag base are all metal, has an x-caliber 24" 3-R 1-8" twist barrel, headspace with go and no-go gauges. Precision ground recoil lug and barrel nut. Thinnest barrel profile they offered with about 200 rounds down the tube. I typically only shoot 3 shots at a time at most since it heats up quickly and I didn't want to torch the barrel. See pic for accuracy at 100 yards. It is a true joy to shoot. My go to load is a 75 eld-m over H4350 at 3,275 fps in Hornady brass. Made a second round hit at 1000 yards this summer with it. Plate was around 24", but still fun for a .22!

Pleased to answer questions, send more pics etc.

Cross posted, first "I'll take it" and PM can take it.

Can meet FTF in North Central PA, or can ship. Asking $850 shipped.

Thanks,
Jonathan

Hello, I do not reload. Any idea how it would group with a 75gr quality factory ammo load?

Hey!

Honestly, I have never put a round of factory ammo through it.

That being said, I had a load worked up for it in the first 20 shots, and 12 of those were just pressure test loads. So, it was unbelievably easy to load for. I'd be inclined to think it would shoot well, just because this seems to be a good barrel, but I certainly can't guarantee it.
