Savage Mod 12 bolt face swap

I have a Savage Mod 12 in .308. I am wanting to have another barrel made and chambered in .358wssm. Why so its a IN legal deer gun. Can I change bolt head for the larger size? I think I should be able too. I know the internal mag probably wont be functional but I only need one. If I can change bolt head I will probably get a extra bolt for it.

You can change it. I believe you'll need a firing pin also if using the newer push feed bolthead. The mag box/follower is easily changed also.
