if they are priced similar to the lapua with the horrible monstrosity stock, I would get at least one, if they would do it in stainless put me down for 2.

Guys on savage shooters were saying some thing like $1500MSRP with a H.S. stock and heavy fluted barrel.

Hope it is an hs stock, the one in the video looked a lot like an accuflimsystock.

A savage for 338 lapua with dbm, an hs stock even blued for under 1500 would be a thing of beauty.

Glad they are releasing something that comes without 4x rails and a train track hooked to it.

Looks pretty sweet. If I didn't already have the 110 BA I'd buy one.

    they are 2 different guns:

the model 111 Long Range Hunter has a sporter barrel and an accustock

the model 110 FCP-K (police) has a heavy barrel and an HS Precision stock

    $979 or $1217 @ Buds guns....

I'm drooling over either one right now...

They are available out there now. Should be allot of of gun for what they are asking for them. I think that makes them the cheapest 338 lapua rifle out there and the hs version has all the right features and still makes hunting weight in Idaho (unlike the 110ba)..........Drooling a little myself.
