I have a Stevens 200 in 308 and have found some new take off factorysavage axis 6.5 creedmoor barrels. My question would one of these work on the Stevens 200 action?
Yes, same barrel thread. Your 308 bolt head is also the same. All you need is barrel nut wrench, action wrench (or barrel vise) and a 6.5 creed go-no-go set. Or a savage-smith friend.
