I agree that this was a good choice. Sarah Palin seems like a real person. Not just a politician. After watching the DEmocratic convention last week I couldn't help but feel sick with that party. Every speaker they had came across fake to me at least. Now I am not saying that I was a big fan of Mcain himself and I am still not a huge fan but by picking a real person as his running mate I am persuaded more to vote for that ticket than I have been since this election began. Sarah Palin is a mother of five with a boy in the military, a pregnant underage daughter, an infant with downs syndrome, a husband who worked the north slope and a start as a small town mayor. SHe is a normal human. SHe doesn't have a long life story about how hard it was growing up and how she has overcame the impossible. She comes across as a regular mother trying to do her best for her family with all the struggles we all face. SHe has not served long enough to be corrupted by big time buisness or to be a member of the political elite. She won my vote last night with her speech and I look forward to the debates to come. I think she might have been just the thing the GOP needed to swing this election. Lucas Greff
