The Sako's make fine custom rifles as long as the smith knows how to deal with there recoil
    system.

Most will have better luck with the Remington's because of the abundance of after market
    parts.

Good stocks are very hard to find unless you go to Sako (And they are very expensive) or
have someone to build one for you.

    Just my 2 cents.

Good luck on your next build .

If you can get a hold of one of these babies: SAKO TRG-22 it will be all you need. They are pricey and they also come in the 338 Lapua (TRG 42). I talk to a lot of snipers on another sight and they hold this rifle in high regard.
