sako rebarrel

    Hi there,
    can someone please tell me if I can rebarrel a sako av with a tikka t3 barrel.

    I'm not 100% sure if you can, I think so. But the question is are you sure you wouldn't want to simply use a Shilan or a hart or something similar. I am a huge tikka fan, but with the cost of rebarreling, spending another couple hundred on a new custom might be the way to go. Especially if you have to buy another tikka barrel and have it reamered. otherwise I can see the cost savings would be significant. Good luck

    Don't waste the time & $ with a T3 barrel. if it's a rifle you love, crack the wallet & buy a custom barrel of your choice. There are many good ones out there.
