Would it be possible to take a picture of the film before it is applied to a surface? Or would it look a lot different then it would on a surface?

Sorry SR90,

I missed this, the film is not any thing like the finished product, it is clear with a strange translucent cast, and has odd shades of strangly tinted leaves, branches or whatever, depending on the pattern. These non opaque images combine with a background color that is laid down first. The film looks totally different than the finished product.
