I have a couple of bdl's so i'm not very familiar w/ the adl's.

Does the adl load from the top like a 700 classic and rounds have to be cycled through the barrel w/the bolt?
thanks Mike

You got it.
The ADL is basically the blind mag. top loading version of the BDL. If I remember right the actions themselves are interchangeable. The ADL has a slightly shorter/shallower mag. box and the BDL of coarse has the bottom metal.

Thanks Winmagman,

I'm trying to figure out a parts list for a rifle.
Some long action mid priced stocks are for bdl's ,adl's in short action only.Plan on building a single shot. Mike

Mike,

If you're going for a single shot an ADL stock should be a bit stiffer than a BDL stock. IThat's what was recommended to me so I have a single shot being build on an ADL stock.
