I had some of the same questions. After a few questions to Fiftydriver, I found that they just need alittle TLC. He has told me some of the things to be done to make them an accurate shooter. If my funds are ok after harvest Im going to have some if not most of these mods done to a older M77 tang safety thats pretty special to me.

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif Rebiult that unit years ago after the original stock got broke coon huntin. I believe I got it from Midway when a stock supplier was going out of business but be danged if I can remember the name of the mfg? Had to finish it myself...Still aint finish the recoil pad /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif Sure didnt need the pad for recoil but it did add enough length to make it fit me.
